Note: While connecting the TPS does produce a slight gain during wide open throttle, the stock ignition mapping is grossly overadvanced around the middle of the throttle opening range, as the Keihin FCRMX 39 carburetor produces far greater cylinder filling (and therefore pressures) in this range than the stock CV carb does. Therefore the TPS should either be disconnected or, for best performance, a programmable ignition be installed and an appropriate ignition map developed.
