Tuning

Chassis

Tuning geometric parameters such as spring rate, preload, ride height, rake, trail, offset, C of G location, mass distribution, swingarm pivot position, swingarm angle, sprocket size, and tire rolling diameter, profile & width via CAD, predictive software and rider feedback.

CV Carburetors

Tuning main jet sizes, needle clip positions, pilot jet sizes, float heights, and fuel screw settings. If indicated, we also develop custom needle profiles, tune airbox inlet size, spring rate & preload, main air bleeds, stack length (if possible) and in special cases, slide weight, pilot air bleeds, main nozzle outlet size and emulsion tube hole location & number. Sometimes being up against the edge of a particular tuning parameter can even warrant modifications to the bodies. We stock tuning components for Dellorto, Keihin and Mikuni CV carburetors (see the "Fuel System" section of the inventory).

Slide Carburetors

Tuning main jet sizes, main nozzle sizes, needle selection, needle clip positions, slide cutaway, pilot jet sizes, float heights, and fuel screw settings. If indicated, we also develop custom needle profiles, tune airbox inlet size, main air bleeds & stack length (if possible) and in special cases, pilot air bleeds, and emulsion tube hole location & number. Sometimes an emulsion tube retrofit or being up against the edge of a particular tuning parameter can even warrant modifications to the body. We stock tuning components for Amal, Dellorto, Keihin and Mikuni slide carburetors (see the "Fuel System" section of the inventory).

Ignition

Tuning points, magneto or electronic ignitions without advance, with mechanical advance, with electronic advance, with programmable electronic advance, with MAP and/or alpha N input, programmable with MAP and/or alpha N input, or piggyback modifier boxes. We therefore we strongly recommend the installation of a three axis programmable ignition. Please call for assistance with selecting the most appropriate solution.

Fuel injection

We are able to natively tune Aprilia Sagem & Walbro, Benelli Sagem, Buell VDO, Ducati Marelli IAW15M, Harley-Davidson Marelli IAW26H & Delphi, KTM Keihin, Moto Guzzi IAW15M & IAW15RC, MZ Sagem, Triumph Keihin & Sagem, and the various aftermarket & kit ECUs. We can also natively tune stock Suzuki ECUs, albeit in very broad strokes for fuel and not for ignition. On these and non-natively tunable models, we recommend the use of a fully programmable ECU or an add-on pulse width modifier. We are able to develop maps for modifiers including DynoJet Power Commander, Factory Pro Teka 4+4 USB, Yoshimura EMS, Bazazz Z-FI and DimSport Rapid.
